2020...

So, looking back at December’s post and the anticipation of great work ahead of me… and now here we are in October 2020 and there is an entire geological age of difference in how the world works between these two posts.

On the plus side: my wife and I are doing fine, all things considered. We are privileged to be able to work from home, and haven’t had any disruption so far. Obviously there is plenty else to be worried about, from Covid to abuse of civil rights to everything being on fire, and those are certainly stressors.

On the down side: With work and stress, creative pursuits have been somewhat lacking. I did finish a draft of the Kazarim Campaign Setting and sent it out to beta readers for review, so that was good! And I’ve continued working on the Dios novel. Got a bit done, but nothing like I wanted. That’s okay. Sometimes things have to wait until sanity is restored.

Anyway, going to try and reaffirm my commitment to this blog. Wish me luck.
